Nataliter 2025 - Fàlanto Chorus (concerto di beneficienza a favore della Associazione Genitori di Taranto Onco-ematologia)
The Fàlanto Chorus is organizing a Christmas concert in collaboration with and in support of the Taranto Parents Association for Oncology and Hematology.

The concert will be opened by the "Madonna della Fiducia" Choir.

Christmas, beyond appearances, should also be a time for reflection. Reflections on Christmas 2025 can focus on rebirth and new beginnings, offering an opportunity to renew hope and growth, as well as a new way to "see" the world, with eyes open to new awareness. Other reflections may concern faith in an "unexpected" event, such as the Christian meaning of the celebration, love, gratuity, and tenderness that go beyond gifts, and the celebration of a God who enters the world, making every life more precious and meaningful. Hope is the central feeling and the key theological virtue of the Jubilee 2025. But even back in 2022, Pope Francis wrote: "God does not want appearances, but concreteness. For this reason, let's not let this Christmas pass without doing something good. Since it's His celebration, His birthday, let's give Him gifts He would like! At Christmas, God is concrete: in His name, let's rekindle some hope in those who have lost it!”

In addition to some classic pieces from the Southern Italian Christmas tradition, original pieces will be presented, mostly performed a cappella or with live musical accompaniment. Particular attention this year is given to the recovery of traditional Tarantine pastorals, revised and arranged for SATB choir.
