Art Says NO to Violence

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence, the association Yeahjasi Brindisi APS, managing entity of the Former Convent of Santa Chiara – Santa Cultural Space and the Vicolo Library, promotes the initiative “Art Says NO to Violence”, conceived and curated by Simonetta Guida.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23, 2025, offers an artistic and cultural journey intertwining different languages – painting, dance, poetry, yoga, and spoken word – to foster a collective reflection on the theme of gender violence. Art becomes a tool for awareness, participation, and freedom, capable of generating dialogue and promoting a culture of respect.

The initiative is realized by Yeahjasi Brindisi APS / Santa Cultural Space / Vicolo Library, with the support of ENDAS in Art, the National Sociologists Association – Puglia Department, the transfeminist QUEER Collective of Brindisi, and the Padma association for the yoga section.

During the event days, a charity fundraising will be active to support local associations working to combat gender violence.
