Trek nell'incanto del Bosco delle Piannelle (Ta)

**Sunday, January 25** we inaugurate the new hiking season of Physis with a **wonderful trek** that is accessible to everyone **in the Bosco delle Pianelle**, a nature reserve in the territory of Martina Franca, where we can admire enchanting landscapes with varied biodiversity: a vast oak forest and mixed woods of holm oak and Turkey oak, long-lived trees, so-called "green giants," karst cavities, creeks and ravines, and ancient rural structures, all along paths that echo stories of bandits and shepherds. Our journey will continue with culinary traditions featuring a **delicious tasting** of excellent local fresh and genuine products: cheeses, cured meats, bruschetta, and focaccine. In the afternoon, a **visit to the beautiful Martina Franca**, "Baroque Pearl of the Itria Valley," is a must. An elegant and refined city, famous for its historic center characterized by an exceptional concentration of Baroque and Rococo architecture, where we will discover its magnificence during a guided tour exploring the rooms of the Ducal Palace and the striking Basilica of San Martino, a place of rare beauty.
