**Federico Buffa**, the undisputed master of sports narration, is returning to Puglia with his new show dedicated to one of the greatest legends in world sports: **Kobe Bryant**. The title is “**
Otto Infinito. Vita e morte di un Mamba**,” and it will be staged **on Monday, February 23, at 9 PM, at the Palatour in Bitritto**, in a **date organized by Aurora Eventi**. **Tickets are available on ticketone.it and at all TicketOne sales points** (info 328.351.94.02).
With “**
Otto Infinito - Vita e morte di un Mamba**,” produced by International Music and Arts, Buffa returns to his great passion, basketball, to tell the story of one of the most complex and fascinating champions of all time. The show, directed by Maria Elisabetta Marelli, retraces Bryant's life and legacy through a theatrical journey in eight chapters: from his Italian childhood to his explosion in the NBA, from victories to setbacks, and finally to the more intimate and human side of an athlete who made the obsession for improvement a philosophy of life.
Buffa goes beyond the myth, avoiding every hagiography. “**
Otto Infinito**” highlights the hunger for success, fierce discipline, the ability to inspire generations, and at the same time the contradictions of a man who lived many lives in one. It is a narrative that intertwines sports and the human condition, dreams and failures, redemption, and the desire to leave a mark that goes beyond the playing field.
The musical contribution is essential: on stage, Alessandro Nidi's piano, with Sebastiano Nidi on percussion and Filippo Nidi on trombone, creates a sound score that dialogues with the narration. The lighting design is by Luca de Candido, while the visuals are by Francesco Poroli with post-production and animation by Mattia Galione, for an immersive visual and audio experience.
After a sold-out debut at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia and sold-out performances at the Teatro Duse in Bologna, the 2026 tour also passes through the main "basketball cities" in Italy - from Milan to Rome, from Naples to Palermo - confirming the strong bond between Buffa's narration and the audience of fans.
“**
Otto Infinito**” is much more than a tribute to a champion: it is a powerful reflection on obsession, talent, and the price of greatness. A narrative that, like the number 8 transformed into the symbol of infinity, continues to question the audience even after the curtain has fallen.
