Taranto – **Thursday, February 19, 2026**, at 9:15 PM – The cultural series **“MEET winter 2026”** continues at **Sonora - Art Music Drinks & Food** (via Principe Amedeo 1/3), dedicated to dialogue as a practice of social transformation. A new series of meetings begins: **SESSION FOR TWO – Professionals in comparison between experiences, skills, and visions**, an event that focuses on the value of exchange among different knowledge, experiences, and perspectives.
The guest of the evening is **Egidio Francesco Cipriano**, psychologist, criminologist, and lecturer, an expert in communication psychology and relational dynamics. Specialized in the application of technologies to psychology, cybersecurity, and the prevention of bullying, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking, he deals with conflict mediation, trauma support, and training in educational and digital fields.
During the meeting, he will present his latest book, **Controversial Monologues**, a semi-collection of writings that traverses three narrative registers: theatrical monologues born from intuition and immediacy; short “against” stories that often reveal themselves to be “for”; and a section of “almost verses,” fragments that add flavor and displacement to what seems obvious.
An invitation to active reading and experimentation: changing voice, genre, intention; reciting texts in solitude or in front of a mirror; questioning which version – politically correct, enterprising or provocative – resonates most with one's feelings. A literary game that becomes an opportunity for awareness and dialogue.
A part of the proceeds from the book will be donated to two organizations committed to supporting the lives and dignity of individuals:
**AGTOE** – Taranto Parents Association for Oncohematology, which supports children with cancer and their families in the pediatric oncohematology department of the SS. Annunziata Hospital in Taranto, offering practical and emotional support and promoting awareness initiatives.
**Karuna Home Italia ONLUS**, which supports the Karuna Home for the Disabled Multifunctional Center in Bylakuppe, India, founded by Lama Khube Rinpoche, providing hospitality, education, and care to orphaned children and youth with disabilities.
Purchasing the book means making a concrete contribution to these projects: words transform into action, care, and hope. The series **“MEET autumn 2026”** is part of the Benessere 2026 project, a cycle of events dedicated to mental health, identity, inclusive languages, and cultural participation. All meetings take place at Sonora and are open to the public.
