Armonie in rosa

The associations **Cultural Literary Group** and **La ’Ngegna** are pleased to present the second concert season **“MUSICARERUM,”** directed by **M° Domenico Susca**. This is a unique cultural project for the area, designed to enhance music in its many forms and offer high-level events featuring renowned artists and young talents.

On **Sunday, March 8, 2025**, at **7:00 PM**, the **Karol Wojtyła auditorium** of the middle school **“G. Giannone”** in **Pulsano (TA), on via Caduti di Nassiriya**, will host an event titled **“HARMONIES IN PINK – Concert for International Women’s Day.”**

Highlighting the evening will be two exceptional musicians: **Alessandra Pulpito** on the flute and **Gabriella Russo** on the harp. The duo will offer a sonic journey through the delicacy and elegance of this instrumental combination, celebrating the feminine universe on a date of profound symbolic meaning.

The program will open with the evocative atmospheres of **Sylvia Woods' In the Forest**, followed by the vibrant lyricism of **Meditation from Thaïs by Jules Massenet**. The musical narrative will continue with the dramatic intensity of **Vincenzo Bellini and his iconic Casta Diva**, followed by the brilliance of **Entr'acte No. 3 from Carmen by Georges Bizet**. A vibrant part of the evening will be dedicated to extraordinary female figures in the history of music: from the dreamy **Ballade Fairyland Waltz by Gertrude Ina Robinson** to the refined **Valse mélancolique by Clémence de Grandval**, passing through the exoticism of **Orientale Op. 22 by Cécile Chaminade** and the mysticism of **Andante religioso by Henriette Renié**. In the final part, the listener will be cradled by the great melodies of cinema and tango, with the emotions of **Nicola Piovani in Buongiorno Principessa** and the immortal themes of **Ennio Morricone (Deborah’s Theme and Once Upon a Time in the West)**, concluding with the overwhelming passion of **Carlos Gardel in Por Una Cabeza**.

The entire event is conceived as a profound tribute to all women: a homage that embraces the pioneers of the past, the protagonists of the present, and the dreamers of the future. In this narrative of beauty and determination, music becomes the voice to accompany the audience in a celebration of **International Women’s Day** that combines listening with reflection.

The concert season **“MUSICARERUM”** represents an important cultural and social investment aimed at promoting live music as a shared experience and an opportunity for collective growth. The concert is sponsored by the **Apulia Region** and the **Municipality of Pulsano.** The event is an unmissable opportunity to experience discovery through the universal language of art.
