Fasano, Riti e Tradizioni della Settimana Santa

An immersive journey to discover the rituals and traditions of Holy Week, enriched by moments of storytelling, guided tours, tastings, and musical entertainment.

The aim of the initiative is to enhance and promote the cultural, musical, architectural, and gastronomic heritage linked to the Easter tradition of Fasano through a guided experiential itinerary in the historic center, open for free to citizens and travelers.

For the implementation of the project, the "Ignazio Ciaia" Association has involved numerous local entities, creating a network of collaborations that strengthens the value of the initiative: the Coordination of the "Associations in Network Fasano", the Fasano section “G. Maringelli” of the Society of Homeland History for Puglia, the University of Free Time “S. Francesco d’Assisi” of Fasano, the “Comitato Giugno Fasanese”, the research group of folk culture “I Canti del Faso”, the musicians of “Plumis Albis”, the Association “U’mbracchie”, the Cultural Association “Nuova Aurora – Diac. Fiorenzo Marsella” and the local Confraternities.

The guided tours will take place on the following days: Sunday, March 29, Wednesday, April 1, Saturday, April 4.

For each date, three time slots are scheduled for visits at the following times: 4:30 PM, 5:15 PM, 6:00 PM. The meeting point is set at the Portici delle Teresiane.
