At the TEATRO VIGNOLA on Friday, the 10th at 9:00 PM, curtain rises for
**GIVE US THE PANTS! The Resistance of Women**, featuring Elisabetta Aloia and Marinella Dipalma.
A tale woven with words and songs intertwines the lives of the female partisans, giving voice to fighting women, often forgotten by history. Approximately 35,000 women participated in the Resistance between 1943 and 1945, risking everything to free Italy from Nazi-Fascist oppression. Of these, over 4,500 were arrested, tortured, and put on trial, 623 executed or fallen in battle, and about 3,000 deported to concentration camps in Germany.
They fought for a free Italy, for a more dignified life, for spaces of autonomy outside the rigid roles imposed by the regime. Some fought in the mountains with extraordinary courage, others conspired in the shadows or supported the partisans, while many held together families torn apart by war and persecution.
Yet, after the Liberation, these women were largely excluded from official celebrations and military recognition. For years, their contribution has been minimized, almost invisible. Only after three decades was their role recognized not as mere support, but as an active and conscious part of the Resistance.

**INHUMAN STORIES** with Giorgio Pasotti
Alessandro Gassmann and Giorgio Pasotti engage with the words of Franz Kafka. "A Report for an Academy" was first published in 1917, featuring a monkey that narrates how, in five years, it adapts to the human system to escape the cage in which it was confined after capture and gain a facsimile of freedom. The first-person narrative, amused and detached, traces the study of human habits that can be surprisingly easily imitated and replicated.
