Venezia tra musica e danza

The Friends of Music resume their activities in Puglia after organizing a decentralization event at the Church of St. Andrew in Gorizia, as a testament to the 2026 project which always foresees new national venues for the "Itinerant Organ Review."

The new event will take place on April 17 at the Church of Purgatory in Conversano, now a regular venue for interdisciplinary concerts that respect both the Baroque theme using an instrument by P. De Simone (1791) and Venetian organ music along with period dance. The performer will be the organist ROBERTO BONETTO (Verona), along with two dancers, RITA GIUANNUZZI (dancer and choreographer) and GIORGIA PUTIGNANO, both professionals trained at Annalisa Bellini's school and who are also teachers at various dance schools in the area.

The concert will feature music by Gabrieli, Fiocco, Marcello, Pescetti, and Galuppi, all composers from the Veneto region from the 16th to 18th centuries, with the exception of Brixi, a renowned figure in Czech music, who was an organist and choir director at St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague (1732/71). The performance will be accompanied by commentary with some typical dance steps of Italian dance in the Veneto area, resulting from a refined combination of French dances and the festive worldly charm of Venetian culture.

THE CONCERT WILL BE HELD AT THE CHURCH OF PURGATORY IN CONVERSANO AT 8:30 PM ON APRIL 17.

YOU ARE ALL INVITED... DON'T MISS IT!
