Test rapidi capillari HIV/SIFILIDE: prevenzione sempre!

On Thursday, April 23rd, the volunteers from CAMA and LILA will continue their efforts to promote the timely diagnosis of HIV infection by offering, at the CAMA LILA office located at Via Castromediano nr. 66 - BARI, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, rapid capillary tests for HIV/SYPHILIS, provided anonymously and free of charge.

To combat HIV, it is essential that individuals unaware of having contracted the virus get tested, so they can access treatment promptly. The test is administered by trained personnel and is accompanied by a counseling discussion aimed at assessing the risks involved.

On Thursday, April 23rd, the reception and acceptance of requests for testing will take place at the CAMA LILA office at Via Castromediano nr. 66 - BARI, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with test results provided a few minutes after the test is administered. If the test is reactive (i.e., preliminarily positive), the individual will be directed to a specialized center with an expedited access pathway, where they can undergo a conventional confirmation test and be enrolled in a treatment program.
