Tramonti Letterari 2026

**LITERARY SUNSETS RETURN TO VILLA COMUNALE IN JUNE**
June is the month of literary sunsets in Cisternino: three books will be presented in Villa Comunale thanks to the now-established collaboration between the Municipality of Cisternino and the "Tommaso Fiore" Community Library.
Meetings, stories, and deep reflections will enliven our evenings at sunset, also telling about the territory and its history.
1st APPOINTMENT: **Sunday, June 14** from **7 PM** the volume "**Cisternino and its band**," written by **Franco Fabrizio A. Paolucci** and **Domenico Zizzi** will be presented. The meeting will be moderated by **M° Angelo Semeraro** and will feature the participation of **M° Donato Semeraro**.
The book fills a gap regarding the origins of the local band tradition, reconstructing its history from the mid-1800s to today. It analyzes the phenomenon of bands in Puglia, rediscovers the composer from Cisternino, Franco Galeoni, and describes the musical formation of the '70s and '80s, up to the thirty years of activity of the "Vitino Zizzi" Wind Orchestra.
In case of rain, the meetings will be held at the **"Tommaso Fiore" Library at via Dante 48**.
