SAGRA DELLA CERVELLATA 2026 TORITTO QUASANO

Everything is ready in Quasano for one of the most anticipated events of the Apulian summer. On July 4 and 5, the Sagra della Cervellata returns, a festival dedicated to the traditional torittese sausage, which symbolizes the local gastronomic identity and is included among the Traditional Agri-food Products of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry.

Organized by Pro Loco Toritto-Quasano APS and the Municipality of Toritto in close synergy with local butchers, with the support of institutions and organizations in the area such as the National Park of Alta Murgia, the Bari Chamber of Commerce, and GAL Terre di Murgia. The event will offer visitors two evenings dedicated to taste, music, and the enhancement of traditions.

The official opening is scheduled for Friday, July 4 at 8:00 PM, with an inaugural ceremony that will kick off the festivities. Following this, at 9:30 PM, there will be a musical show titled “Baciami Ancora” (Kiss Me Again), a journey through love, nostalgia, and the great hits of Italian music.

The evening of Saturday, July 5 will continue with live entertainment from the Apulian band "Superclassifica Sció," who will host a grand musical party starting at 9:00 PM.

In addition to the inevitable food and wine stands, where it will be possible to taste the renowned cervellata and other local specialties, the event will host numerous stands dedicated to both small and large local crafts, offering a special space for local productions and excellence. There will also be attractions and recreational moments for the little ones, ensuring that the event is a celebration and sharing opportunity for the whole family.

The Sagra della Cervellata represents an important opportunity to promote the gastronomic excellence of the territory, attracting numerous visitors each year and contributing to the enhancement of local traditions. The absolute protagonist will naturally be the torittese cervellata, a symbol of the culinary culture of the area.

The event thus confirms itself as a moment of gathering, conviviality, and promotion of the cultural, gastronomic, and productive heritage of Quasano, in the heart of Alta Murgia, capable of combining tradition, authentic flavors, entertainment, and the enhancement of local realities.
