**"Roots of Light: EVOART (TM) tells the territory"**
Live pictorial storytelling and historical-economic dialogues

The **Archaeological Museum of Pulsano**, in collaboration with **Carmelinda Petraroli**, a resident artist in Pulsano, where she conducts her artistic activities, and creator of the innovative painting technique **EVOART (TM)**, presents: **“Roots of Light: EVOART tells the territory”**, a high-profile public cultural event aimed at enhancing the identity heritage and historical memory of the Apulian territory through the languages of contemporary art and local research. The initiative, which will take place on **Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7:30 PM**, in the **Refectory of the former convent of the Reformed Fathers in Pulsano (TA)**, sees the prestigious official collaboration of the **MAP (Archaeological Museum of Pulsano)**, which will actively participate in the evening through **Vincenzo Ludovico**, offering the audience a valuable historical-cultural insight. The event draws inspiration from the motivations that led the artist to create the painting technique called "**EVOART (TM) - Painting with light (C)**," which uses the excellences of our territory (the **extra virgin olive oil and wine**) as raw materials, representing the artistic moment of the event with live painting, accompanied by evocative texts and music. Within the live pictorial storytelling, artistic and iconographic references related to the history of EVO oil and the icon of the **Madonna dei Martiri**, housed in the church of the convent, will be included.

The event is configured as a moment of strong cultural appeal thanks to the involvement of a panel of authoritative speakers. After the institutional greetings from **Mayor Pietro D'Alfonso** and **Antonella Lippolis** - Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Social Services, Culture, Entertainment, and Equal Opportunities in the Municipality of Pulsano, Professor **Francesco Lenoci**, the event's godfather, will give a talk titled “The benevolent oleotourism Made in Puglia”; **Teresa Varvaglione**, a sommelier and administrative officer at the Pulsano Social Winery, will discuss: “Drops of gold and sips of history: strategies for experiential tourism for the future of oleo-enotourism in Puglia”; art historian and archaist academic **Antonio Santoro** will provide a critical analysis of the artistic production presented; **Vincenzo Ludovico**, from the **MAP**, as mentioned, will offer the public a valuable historical-cultural insight into the cult of the **Madonna dei Martiri**, whose icon is preserved in the church of the convent. At the end of the event, Francesco Lenoci will be the godfather of the inauguration of the **“Il mio rifugio” Art Studio**, located at Via Lunga degli Aborigeni, 7, in the heart of the historic center, where the artist “tells” the territory through her innovative art that has roots in classicism.

“Light does not illuminate. It acts.” **EVOART (TM) Petraroli** is born from listening to matter and respecting time. It does not impose color, it awaits it. With this foundational concept, **Carmelinda Petraroli** has officially registered the EVOART (TM) trademark with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and registered with SIAE the description of the production process of the EVOART (TM) technique, associated with a Format, also registered, which has been presented on various public occasions. “Extra virgin olive oil and wine are not tools, but presences,” explains the artist, “they carry memory, transformation, slowness. They are elements of our land that transform into evocative images through light and time. My task is simply to make them surface through my artistic sensitivity.”

**Carmelinda Petraroli**, born in Turin, is a contemporary Italian painter, active mainly in Puglia, where she has lived for many years. As the daughter of an artist, she inherited her passion for painting from her father **Orazio Petraroli**, a well-known surrealist painter, and started drawing as a child. She graduated as a Master of Art in Grottaglie and worked as a designer and planner in the architectural field before fully dedicating herself to art. Her figurative painting combines elements of classicism and modernity and is focused on expressing emotions and inner dimensions. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, receiving various accolades, including awards at national artistic events and first place at the Festival dell’Immagine in Martina Franca. **Francesco Lenoci**, originally from **Martina Franca**, where he was awarded the **Patriae Decus**, is an economist and a lecturer on “Methodologies and Quantitative Determinations of Enterprises” at the **Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan**, an Ambassador of Sammarchese and Garganica Culture in the World. He is the author of numerous monographs and scientific articles on budgets and sustainability, combining his academic career with a deep and constant cultural commitment. Defined as “the best ambassador of Puglia in Milan,” he holds the position of **Honorary President of the "Pugliesi" Association**. He is an indefatigable speaker and cultural promoter, always dedicated to enhancing the agri-food excellences, craftsmanship, and identity roots of the Apulian territory.

**Antonio Santoro** is an essayist, author, and art historian, an archaist academic, who actively collaborates in cultural initiatives and exhibitions in the Apulian territory, deepening contemporary visual languages. As an attentive aesthetic observer, he curates the presentation and exegesis of new techniques and currents, guiding the public to understand the links between matter and the current artistic landscape.
