IL PICCOLO PRINCIPE - O Ciel Lucente

Theatre Theatre
IL PICCOLO PRINCIPE - O Ciel Lucente
A great classic of world literature comes to life on stage thanks to Teatro delle Forche. From the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry arises a performance capable of speaking to audiences of all ages, intertwining poetry, friendship, and reflections on the meaning of life through an evocative theatrical language, accompanied by the original music of Paolo Capodacqua.

From July 4 to August 30, the Piccolo Anfiteatro Carlo Formigoni in Ostuni will once again be the heart of “O Ciel Lucente,” a festival conceived by Teatro delle Forche that, following last year’s debut, consolidates its path with a second edition that expands the dialogue between theater, territory, and community. Under the artistic direction of Giancarlo Luce, the event features a lineup that weaves together contemporary theater, reinterpretations of classics, productions for children, narrative theater, and new creations, confirming the Anfiteatro as one of the most original venues dedicated to the summer scene in Puglia.

A project that roots itself in the artistic experience of Carlo Formigoni, one of the main figures in children’s theater and research theater in Italy, who identified in the space an ideal meeting point between actor and audience, where the stage could rediscover essentiality, proximity, and sharing.
