On July 17, Nomade Ostuni hosts Jagal! Jagal!, the Italian-Lebanese duo formed by Dorian Monterosa and Delleyup, who are at the forefront of a meeting between musical research, club culture, and a cosmopolitan attitude.
Active between Milan and Beirut, the two artists have built over the years a recognizable sound language through extensive experience on international dancefloors, from the Balearic Islands to the Baltic. The name Jagal! Jagal! references Lebanese slang that ironically reinterprets the figure of the Mediterranean bon vivant, synthesizing a free-spirited and bohemian ethos without sacrificing the care of musical selection.
Dorian Monterosa is a central figure in the Milan club scene, with a journey that spans garage rock and electronic music, leading him to hold positions in the artistic direction of venues such as Plastic, Apophis Club, and House of Ronin. His musical universe encompasses House, Cosmic, Italo, and Balearic. Delleyup, a selector and connoisseur of international underground music, brings an approach that traverses Tech House and Minimal, with a particular focus on groove and the narrative construction of the set.
Together, they work on contrasts, progressions, and contaminations, building dynamic DJ sets designed to follow the evolution of the dancefloor. Over the years, they have performed in cities such as Milan, Paris, Ibiza, Beirut, Vilnius, and Mérida, sharing the stage with international artists including Marie Davidson, Yung Lean, Tony Humphries, and Honey Dijon. Starting in 2024, they will be residents at House of Ronin and Casa Cipriani Milano, in addition to having curated performances for events related to brands such as Hermès and Nike.
The evening is part of the musical programming of Nomade Ostuni, a place immersed in the nature of the Itria Valley that combines cuisine, hospitality, music, and the quest for well-being. Amid Mediterranean vegetation and the Apulian coast, Nomade offers an experience founded on the encounter between cultures, tradition, and contemporary influences, with a particular focus on the relationship with the territory.
On July 17, Jagal! Jagal! will bring their sonic journey to Nomade Ostuni, blending Mediterranean influences, international club culture, and musical research.
