La Festa del Mare – 51ª Sagra del Polpo

The Sea Festival - 51st Octopus Festival: from July 24 to 26, 2026, Mola di Bari celebrates the sea, its history, and its traditions. This event includes three days of music, flavors, culture, and maritime traditions to tell the story of Mola di Bari's identity and the city's deep connection with its sea. On the Sea Stage, Dargen D’Amico, Venerus, and Antonio Castrignanò & Taranta Sounds will be the main performers. There will also be tastings, exhibitions, talks, visits, workshops, and experiences related to the sea. The Octopus Festival, now in its fifty-first edition, will be central to the event, offering opportunities to rediscover Mola's cuisine through tastings and traditional preparations. Various locations in Mola di Bari will host exhibitions, visits, and cultural activities dedicated to the landscape. Piazza XX Settembre will feature the Sponsor Village, which will host events and meetings, with activities for all ages including acrobatics, hula hooping, and juggling workshops. The Sea Festival thus renews an event that is deeply rooted in the identity of Mola di Bari, transforming it into a major cultural and territorial project.
