At the magical moment when night gives way to day, a new edition of **“Prime Luci – Sperimentazioni all’alba”**, a format conceived and produced by Music Platform, comes to life. It is an audiovisual experience combining readings, electronic experimentation, and natural beauty on the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea in Santa Cesarea Terme. A unique event of its kind, it symbolically celebrates artistic connections, the natural cycle of life, and the bond with the local area, transforming the first light of day into an end-of-summer ritual shared by residents and visitors to this town on the Salento Adriatic coast.

Now in its fourth edition, the event renews its collaboration with the Municipality of Santa Cesarea Terme, which has sponsored and supported its growth since its debut, together with Terme di Santa Cesarea. Among the partners is Salento Book Festival, a long-standing cultural institution in the area. The partnership grew out of shared aims and affinities between the two initiatives. The event’s network also includes associations and businesses, with the goal of strengthening dialogue between independent organizations, public institutions, and local enterprises.

During the transition from the night of Saturday, August 22, to the day of Sunday, August 23, **“Prime Luci – Sperimentazioni all’alba”** presents two experimental moments centered on words and sound. The experience unfolds as a continuous narrative, integrating the changing natural light with the evolution of the artistic forms on the program.

The event opens with **“Concepita”**, a monologue by actress and writer Clio Evans. An author published by Mondadori and a familiar face in theater and on television, Evans presents a powerful, socially engaged, and poetic reading for **“Prime Luci – Sperimentazioni all’alba,”** placing the female body and the complexity of contemporary relationship dynamics at its center. Drawing on myth, the performer explores the trauma of coming into the world, the burden of gender stereotypes, control over the female body, coercion, and emotional dependence, before broadening her focus to the scourge of violence and femicide.

As dawn progresses and the light spreads across the coast, the spoken word gives way to a purely sonic dimension entrusted to **Cucina Sonora**, a project by pianist and producer Pietro Spinelli. The project blends pop and contemporary electronic music in a sound suspended between the analog and digital worlds. Creating an intense dialogue between piano sounds and synthesizer frequencies, the sunrise soundscape is structured around musical frameworks that the musician reworks in real time according to the natural setting and the audience’s response. This leaves ample room for improvisation and transforms the rising sun into a collective journey with no predetermined destination.

The event will take place on the panoramic terrace of the Villa at **217 Via Roma**. It begins at **5:00 a.m.** Admission is free.
