“Open Air” is an unusual artistic initiative that will enliven the center of Terlizzi from September 30 to October 12, 2026, transforming it into a large open-air art gallery that brings together tradition, contemporary creativity, and collective participation.
The streets, squares, balconies, and façades of the city center will be transformed into an exhibition space featuring works by 60 artists. Their paintings on canvas, sheets, and fabric panels will add color to the city. In this way, art leaves museums and galleries to become a visual narrative accessible to everyone. By becoming part of everyday life, this distinctive collective installation—now increasingly widespread—will offer its aesthetic and communicative message to a broad and diverse audience.
It will be easy to be captivated by these works, which, animated by the wind, will present landscapes, figures, colors, emotions, and social messages through the use of a variety of techniques, including painting, photography, textiles, and reused materials.
The main aim is to create a dialogue between art, the city, and the landscape, inviting people to view urban spaces with new eyes and reflect on the contemporary world.
