L'organista della Cattedrale di New York in concerto a Monopoli

The **Monopoli Cathedral Basilica** is preparing to host one of the season’s most eagerly anticipated musical events. **On Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 8:30 p.m.**, the majestic setting of the Cathedral will welcome a solo concert by maestro **Mark Pacoe, principal organist at New York’s renowned St. Patrick’s Cathedral.**

The event will offer the audience an artistic and spiritual experience of the highest caliber, making full use of the acoustic and tonal qualities of the Basilica’s magnificent organs through a program divided into two parts, designed to highlight the unique characteristics of two different instruments housed within the monumental complex.

### A Refined Program Spanning Early and Symphonic Music

The first part of the concert will feature maestro Pacoe performing on the Petrus de Simone organ of the Shrine (1762), offering listeners the characteristic sounds of the Baroque and Renaissance traditions.

The second part will move to the Francesco Consoli Grand Organ (1922), showcasing German, French, and Italian Romantic and modern repertoire.
