Rosso Salentino III edizione

**“ROSSO SALENTINO” RETURNS TO MESAGNE: THE 3RD EDITION CELEBRATING FINE APULIAN WINE AND LOCAL FLAVORS GETS UNDERWAY**

On October 30 and 31, 2026, the splendid setting of Piazza Orsini del Balzo will host two evenings dedicated to culinary and wine excellence, traditional crafts, live music, and solidarity.

**Mesagne (BR)** – The eagerly awaited celebration of local flavors and traditions returns. The curtain rises on the third edition of **“Rosso Salentino,”** a food and wine event organized by Appia Street Eventi and Confesercenti Brindisi, under the patronage of the Municipality of Mesagne and in partnership with AVIS – Mesagne Branch.

The event will enliven the heart of the historic center from 6:00 p.m. on Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st.

The festival celebrates the authentic flavors of Puglia through a tasting trail that combines traditional food and wine stalls with the first Christmas markets, giving visitors the chance to enjoy an early taste of the holiday atmosphere alongside local crafts and specialty products.

The undisputed stars of the tasting area, organized with the prestigious support of AIS Puglia, will be the fine wines of some of the area’s best wineries: **Tenute Lu Spada, Azienda Agricola Moccari, Cantine San Donaci,** and **Masseria Pezza**.

### The Artistic Program and Host

Carefully planned by artistic director Fabrizio Valentini, the music and entertainment program will accompany the public on both evenings. The stage host and presenter will be well-known radio personality **Viviana Ancora**, who will introduce two exceptional performances:

**Friday, October 30:** The event will open in traditional style with roasted chestnuts and a live show by **I Salentuosi**, who will have the crowd singing and dancing with an energetic repertoire of great Italian hits and Salento favorites.

**Saturday, October 31:** The evening will offer atmosphere and quality with a concert by **I Barbablù**, presenting the audience with a refined journey through pop, rock, and ska music.

“Rosso Salentino” once again proves itself to be a major event designed not only to showcase outstanding wine production and promote social connection, but also to support the values of solidarity, thanks to the active participation and presence of the local **AVIS Mesagne** branch.
