4° Premio Letterario Nazionale Tommaso Di Ciaula - serata di premiazione e 1° Premio Città di Binetto

**Subject: 4th National Tommaso Di Ciaula Literary Prize**

The 4th National Prize named after the worker-writer and poet Tommaso Di Ciaula is now nearing its conclusion. Through his poetry and prose, he left a powerful mark on the literary landscape of our time, bringing human, social, and political issues fully to light.

The initiative was promoted by *Officina d’Arte*, a cultural association from Bitetto chaired by Vito Dalò. The association is involved in social theater, focusing above all on the recovery and inclusion of people with disabilities, and also promotes various cultural initiatives. The artistic direction was handled by Michele Agostinelli and Concetta Antonelli.

The event has also received the patronage of the municipalities of Adelfia, Binetto, Bitetto, Bitonto, and Modugno.

The evening will be attended by the Mayor of Binetto, Vito Bozzi, and the Councillor for Culture, Marisa Romeo.

The works submitted by poets and writers were reviewed by the jury, composed of Concetta Antonelli, Davide Di Ciaula, Marino Pagano, Matteo Rusconi, Mario Sicolo, and Franco Taldone.

The jury considered a selection of high-quality short stories and poetic compositions. Its conclusions will be made public on the evening of the awards ceremony, next Saturday, November 7, at 6:00 p.m., at the Nuovo Teatro Comunale in Binetto, on Via Piscinelle, in the presence of public officials and invited guests.

During the evening, accompanied by music performed by Maestro Rocco Giancaspro on the piano, the winners will receive prizes, plaques, and certificates.

In particular, the following established artists—Giuseppe Genchi, Franco Giacopino, Nick Giu (Nicola Giuliani), Ledi Gu Gu (Angela Guerra), Maria Pierno, Luca Samele, Michele Sedicino, and Lino Sivilli—have each donated one of their works for the winners. These works will be awarded during the ceremony.

Admission to the evening, which promises to be especially warm and welcoming, is free.

The event’s media partners are the publications *Barimania* and *Mediterranea TV*, represented by Tonio Lucatorto and Maurizio Gagliano.

During the same evening, the **1st City of Binetto Prize** will also be awarded. This prize will be presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the fields of cultural, artistic, and professional endeavors.
