2ª MOSTRA MICOLOGICA di LATIANO e CONVEGNO I SEGRETI DEL BOSCO - Micologia, Biodiversità e Riforestazione

🍄 **2nd MYCOLOGICAL EXHIBITION – LATIANO** 🌳

On Friday, November 13, we look forward to welcoming you at the Latiano Museum Complex, in the former Dominican Convent, for the second edition of our Mycological Exhibition!

Starting at 4:30 p.m., you will be able to visit the exhibition and take a close look at numerous mushroom species found in our area, learning about their characteristics and the role they play in nature.

At 6:00 p.m., the conference **“THE SECRETS OF THE FOREST – Mycology, Biodiversity and Reforestation”** will begin. We will be pleased to welcome:

🍄 **Michele Tria**, a mycologist with the Taranto Local Health Authority (ASL), who will guide us through the world of fungi, their biodiversity, and the importance they have in natural ecosystems.

🌳 **Stefano Bello**, an AIGAE-affiliated hiking guide, who will speak about biodiversity and reforestation, the importance of knowing and protecting our forests, and the value these environments represent for the local area.

During the conference, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about the organizations that helped organize the event:

🍄‍🟫 **The “Antonio Costantini” Mycological and Naturalist Group of Latiano**, with its activities devoted to mycology, public education, and promoting the value of fungal heritage.

🌱 **Officina Didattica in Natura APS**, with the projects we are carrying out for reforestation, woodland restoration, biodiversity conservation, and environmental awareness.

At 7:00 p.m., there will be a guided tour of the exhibition with the experts, followed at 7:30 p.m. by a convivial buffet to bring the evening to a close.

The aim is simple: to share our passions, help people get to know the nature around us better, and raise ever-greater awareness of the importance of respecting and protecting our local area.
