Culture as a tool for growth, inclusion, and social participation. This is the vision that the Pasquale Battista Foundation is renewing with **INAUDITA**, the theater festival now in its fourth edition, under the artistic direction of Elisabetta Aloia. This year, the event is broadening its horizons by opening up to the local area and engaging an increasingly diverse audience. It is a program that combines artistic excellence, experimentation, and the promotion of places with a strong sense of identity, with the aim of bringing new generations and entire communities closer to culture.
“With INAUDITA, we want to offer a cultural experience capable of speaking to everyone, highlighting artistic quality and the connection with the local area,” explains Flavio Augusto Battista, president of the Pasquale Battista Foundation. “Opening up to new forms of expression and involving families and children as well means recognizing culture’s fundamental role in the growth of a community, while creating concrete opportunities for participation.”
On November 7, Teatro delle Bambole will stage *Il fuoco* (*The Fire*), a production inspired by the work of Gabriele D’Annunzio, adapted and directed by Andrea Cramarossa. On November 13, it will be the turn of *Scherzi* (*Jokes*), by the Te.Ti. company – Teatro dei Titani, which brings together three one-act plays by Anton Chekhov in a journey through comedy, conflicts, and human contradictions.
On November 20, *La tecnica della Mummia* (*The Mummy Technique*), produced by AMAranta Indoors and A.M.A. Factory, will explore the relationship between failure, imagination, and empathy through the surreal story of a prisoner and his court-appointed lawyer. On December 4, *Alla moda del varietà* (*In the Style of Variety*), performed by UNO&Trio, will take audiences on a journey through twentieth-century music, transformation, and comedy.
On December 18, *Home Run*, by Compagnia Senza Piume, will examine the relationship between work and the individual in contemporary society, interweaving it with the themes of friendship and solidarity.
The festival will conclude on December 20 at 6:00 p.m. with *Evelina vien dal mare* (*Evelina Comes from the Sea*), a performance by and featuring Elisabetta Aloia. Set in a town in Puglia, the story invites audiences to reflect on uniqueness, self-acceptance, and the value of differences.
With INAUDITA, the Pasquale Battista Foundation reaffirms its commitment to building an accessible and wide-ranging cultural program capable of combining artistic research, inclusion, and a strong connection to local identity.
