"A little in jest, a little to avoid dying!" Ettore Petrolini said, quoting Madama Butterfly. And isn't it precisely to ward off death that man, or someone higher up, invented laughter? And what could be better, then, than turning a bad tragedy, Shakespeare's famous Hamlet, into a farce that could make people die... of laughter? Three eccentric comedians will desperately try in a mysterious race against time: vaudeville, futuristic comic theater, cabaret, variety show, Jewish humor are mixed in a big pot with the words of the English bard.

A surreal tribute to the comedy of the 20th century and its History: an incessant joyous ride between jokes, tricks, and pranks fleeing from a tragedy that meanwhile chases, approaches, does not give up, and above all does not resign to defeat. It wants to reclaim what is rightfully his. There is a doubt that there is not much to laugh about anymore. And yet... "We don't have much to lose, it seems. Might as well... Have fun. Right?"
