Quando un Musicista Ride - Elio

Playing and laughing with music and songs. An easy task for Elio and his band of very young virtuosos who, after the great success of "Ci vuole orecchio", are now having fun exploring and reinventing that immense repertoire that is both serious and comical, on the border between singing and disenchantment, which, especially around the 60s, has crossed through Italian music, songs, cabaret and theater. From Fo to Gaber, from Jannacci to Cochi and Renato, from Flaiano to Marcello Marchesi, plus many others, a generation of eccentric and counter-current artists who have surprised and amused everyone, from experimentalists to the general public reinventing a genre rich in eccentric and fun "carefree songs". This is what this show aims to do, rediscovering and renewing today those brilliant, innovative, non-conformist ideas, and also that creative freedom. Because it's beautiful to be there "when a musician laughs".
