"La Vedova Allegra" di Franz Lehar
A new production of Franz Lehár's celebrated opera will close the 49th Opera Season on December 6, 7 (at 8:45 PM), and 8 (at 6 PM).

The direction of the show will be by Giandomenico Vaccari, with set design and costumes by Giacomo Callari, and choreography by Fredy Franzutti.

The original setting will be moved to the days immediately preceding the outbreak of World War I, with a scenography devoid of traditional embellishments, entirely conceived to evoke the crisis of the world back then on the brink of a tragedy that would forever change Europe and the world.

Multimedia images created by Leandro Summo will serve as the natural scenographic and aesthetic guide for a show that will be built on dramaturgical experimentation, realized with careful attention to the spoken parts, which will be partially revisited.
