We are in Bordeaux, in the house of a deaf man, Francisco Goya. It's the last night of his life. His lover for more than thirty years, the lively Leocadia Zorilla, unleashes his imagination and memories. Francisco José de Goya (1746-1828) is considered the most important Spanish painter and printmaker between the late 18th and early 19th century. During his long career, he was a committed commentator and chronicler of his time. He died in exile in Bordeaux, France.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of ODIN TEATRET by Eugenio Barba, a SPECIAL TRIBUTE will be held at Abeliano Theater, which includes, besides the evening theater performances of THE HOUSE OF THE DEAF MAN (on November 8 and 9 at 9 PM), also two conferences with film screenings, specifically:
November 8 at 10 AM: THE COUNTRY WHERE TREES FLY (Film by Jacopo Quadri and Davide Barletti)
November 9 at 10 AM: ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER (Film by Torgeir Wethal)
with presentation and introduction by Franco Perrelli, and conclusions by Eugenio Barba and Julia Varley.
Participation in the morning conferences with films is allowed for those who purchase a ticket for the evening performance, through Vivaticket or directly at the Abeliano Theater box office.
