A true story centered around women that transforms into an engaging and emotionally impactful show. On October 16, 1943, Nazi SS forces raided the Roman ghetto, deporting over 1,000 Jews from the Roman community to Auschwitz. Among them was a woman, Elena Di Porto, who, until the night before, had tried to warn the ghetto's inhabitants of the imminent danger. However, no one listened to her because Elena was considered the "madwoman" of the Jewish quarter, known as "the crazy one of Piazza Giudìa." Elena Di Porto was a resident of the Roman ghetto with a unique personality: declared mad by the regime, she was not at all. Born in 1912 to a humble Jewish family, Elena was a woman with a singular and rebellious character, deeply nonconformist. Separated from her husband, independent, a staunch anti-fascist and fearless, she was unwilling to passively accept any form of abuse, especially towards others.
