What would happen if Paolo Ruffini, just as he is about to start his one-man show, were interrupted by a lost child? Well, it would happen that Paolo, after finding the child's parents, would have to take care of him while waiting for them to come and pick him up, thus turning into an unlikely babysitter! Here, the artist tries to distract and entertain the child to pass the time, with a series of games and tricks that involve the audience's complicity and unfold in a sequence of hilarious, fast-paced gags. Paolo and his unexpected guest find themselves discussing the big themes of childhood and adulthood, from the power of imagination to great responsibilities, from the things the "grown-ups" have forgotten to the freedom that grows with age. Between light-heartedness and fun, the show allows for some poetic moments, the kind that only a child's surprising reflections can offer.
