"The Orchestra, with its unique ensemble of over 16 guitars, will traverse various musical genres: from timeless American Classics to the orchestral reimagining of the Beatles' Pop Rock, and the great film scores by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Pino Daniele, Whitney Houston, and others... The event will also feature some Christmas medleys and a greeting to the new year with the unmistakable Radetzky March... The performance will include compositions like: Here Comes The Sun; In My Life; Come Together; Don't Let Me Down; and many other historic themes from the Liverpool quartet, up to the soundtrack of A Fistful of Dollars and other masterpieces by Ennio Morricone. Additionally, from Happy Xmas by John Lennon to Moon River by Mancini, and from the soundtrack of “The Godfather Part II” by Maestro Nino Rota, to the timeless American classic What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong! The fingerpicking guitarist Danny Trent, along with singer Erica Burdi, will be guests of the evening and will accompany the orchestra in several pieces, adding swing and country sounds to the evening! All these musical genres find their place thanks to the skillful transcriptions and arrangements of Maestro Pasquale Scarola, who carefully intertwined string and wind instruments, creating a new yet well-balanced harmonic and melodic situation. The result is a seductive variety of coloristic effects executed with brilliant mastery and penetrating musicality that make listening particularly pleasant, captivating and engaging a broad and diverse audience that is never disappointed."

The De Falla Guitar Orchestra, unique in its kind in Europe, due to its original ensemble composed of about 16 guitarists (including both teachers and graduates from the "Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari), turns this typically solo instrument into the foundation of the orchestral ensemble. Its repertoire spans a wide range of musical genres, from Classical to Flamenco, Jazz to South American Folklore, and up to contemporary music, offering a particularly varied concert. By employing not only 20 classical guitars (in their various forms) but also other instruments (mandolin, flute, percussion, cello, and double bass), the program aims to receive favorable reviews from both experts and numerous music lovers. The performance moves from more "challenging" pieces (yet always immediately listenable) to more "whimsical" ones, resulting from research in the original guitar orchestra repertoire and transcription and arrangement interventions personally curated by Maestro Pasquale Scarola.
