Electronic and contemporary groove, with original and traditional tracks ranging from gypsy Balkan to world music, enhanced by electronic music that makes the performance a melting pot of pulsating and captivating sounds releasing pure adrenaline.
This is ZINGARUA, a powerful Calabrian-Pugliese world trio composed of Emanuele Calvosa on trumpet, Gino Semeraro on guitar, and Antonio Dema on drums.
In 2024, Zingarua begins a collaboration with Antonio De La Cuesta Manrique, known as Tonino Carotone. From this collaboration, the band's third single "La Birra" was born, written with Enzo Petrachi, a folk singer from Lecce.
In just one year, the band has performed over 100 concerts at festivals, town squares, and venues; they have opened for national and international artists such as Sud Sound System and Manu Chao, and are ready for the winter tour which will see them perform on foreign stages.
The three musicians have also played with Nina Zilli, Lucio Dalla, Gianluca Grignani, Brunori Sas, Mannarino, and Opa Cupa.
Following, the much sought-after vinyls of TOROTOM meet the trumpeter and composer MARCO PUZZELLO.
