There is a hidden flavor, a taste that cannot be described using the terms of our tastings. It is the flavor of solidarity, the pleasure and beauty of combining the knowledge of wine with an act of closeness towards those living in socially, economically disadvantaged, and disabled situations.
AIS has always stood alongside national bodies committed to assisting the weakest. With the "Alba Vitae" project, we want to demonstrate the strength of our association: regional delegations have selected the "great ambassadors" of the area, oenological excellences presented to the public in a magnum format to achieve a charitable purpose.
Alongside regions like Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Emilia, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Romagna, Sardinia, Sicily, Umbria, and Veneto, AIS Puglia also promotes and adheres to the project through the tasting and sale of a special edition of "Sonetto. Primitivo di Manduria DOC Riserva 2019" from the Azienda Produttori di Manduria, a rare and precious wine, originating from over ninety-year-old bush vines.
The proceeds from the sale of the magnums will be directed towards supporting the Social Promotion Association "Zoe" of Noci (Ba), an organization engaged in volunteer activities for young people with disabilities through paths of art therapy, inclusive theater, and music therapy. But AIS Puglia, under the direction of the Murgia Delegation, has envisioned a tasting with all 14 labels offered in the limited and exclusive magnum format of the Alba Vitae 2024 project. To do this, the Regions and each individual presidency have been involved to narrate, in their own words: the reasons for choosing the wines, the reasons for the Alba Vitae project, and the motivations that make the project noble.
The evening will be introduced by Vincenzo Carrasso, Murgia AIS Puglia Delegate, with contributions from Dr. Manuela Cornelii, Project Coordinator of Alba Vitae for Italy, Dr. Giuseppe Baldassarre, AIS National Advisor, and the indispensable presence of Giacomo D’Ambruoso, AIS Puglia President.

For Puglia, the event will also be an opportunity to add to the funds already being collected from the sale of bottles of "Sonetto Primitivo di Manduria DOC Riserva 2019 from Produttori di Manduria," also the proceeds from the ticket sales.
Another prestigious event by AIS Puglia-Murgia with a charitable focus.
