**Sunday, March 2, 2025, you will be able to admire the Norman-Swabian Castle of Gioia del Colle and the magnificent artifacts of the National Archaeological Museum** accompanied on a pleasant and interesting **Guided Tour** for the entire day. The tours will start at **10:00 AM - 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM**.

You will be fascinated by the enchanting scenario of the **Norman-Swabian Castle**, erected at the beginning of the 12th century AD by the **Altavilla**, then enriched by the great **Emperor Frederick II of Swabia** between 1229-1230; the rooms, fully accessible, feature interesting medieval architecture and elements through which it is possible to narrate the life and exploits of the Puer Apuliae.

The interesting collection of the **National Archaeological Museum of Gioia del Colle**, housed in the halls of the Frederick manor, contains artifacts dating from the 9th to the 3rd century BC from the ancient Peucetian city of Thuriae, today the archaeological area of Monte Sannace. Amphoras, vases, kraters decorated with mythological scenes, fibulas, bracelets, coins, spears, swords, and armor are just some of the particular artifacts through which it is possible to trace the story of ancient civilizations present in central Puglia at the time.
