NBC GAS BUTANO live concert - culture e musiche dal Mozambico
**NBC GAS BUTANO** is a versatile Mozambican artist with a focus on traditional music. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to researching traditional Mozambican musical instruments, with the aim of preserving and promoting their culture. As a musician, he has performed in various countries, including China, Germany, Spain, Namibia, and Italy.

Currently, **NBC GAS BUTANO** resides in Spain, where, in addition to attending a master's program in Contemporary Technological and Performative Art, he also pursues his work as a musician.

In 2024, **NBC GAS BUTANO** published his book titled **Sarau Cultural Nyunga Nyunga – Preserving Cultural Diversity.** The book addresses the history of the Mbira, a traditional Mozambican musical instrument that has long been at risk of extinction due to colonial policies. During the colonization of Mozambique, the Portuguese did not allow the colonized peoples to maintain their traditions and cultures. Additionally, the book outlines the structure for developing a cultural project to advance this type of initiative.

During his musical performance, he will be accompanied on percussion by **Michele Ciccimarra.**
