The book, published by Treccani, collects 75 texts selected from thousands received from all over the world, written by young people who participated in the "Youth and Future" project. Each text answers the questions: "What would you change about the society you live in and how? What is your word for change?".

This great international project involved many universities and youth organizations, including: Yale University, Harvard University, Berklee College of Music, Wellesley College in the United States; UNAM in Mexico, UANIL in Brazil, University of Tokyo in Japan.

With Youth and Future, the songwriter becomes the spokesperson for his generation, aware of the young people's duty to create a new horizon in this historical moment of severe crisis, conflict, and disintegration.
