Tre giorni al museo - Il Futurismo - Fiori da museo

On April 25, 26, and 27, the Spada House Museum of Ancient Musical Instruments presents a series of artistic events encompassing futurism, theater, music, poetry, and sculpture.

In the morning, the conversation on Futurism and the screening of the video Plastic Dances will offer a fresh perspective on Futurism through the digital reinterpretation of the puppet show created by Fortunato Depero and Gilbert Clavel in 1918, showcasing its extraordinary power and modernity. The video is directed by Franco Sciannameo with music by Alfredo Casella, Gerald Tyrwhitt, Chemenow (a pseudonym for Bela Bartok), and Francesco Malipiero, performed by the Harmonia Ensemble conducted by Giuseppe Grazioli.

In the afternoon, Flowers from the Museum, an art and poetry moment with Luisa Elia: Luisa Elia's poetry is musical, fragile objects, butterflies that cling to you like flowers from a museum. The event title, Flowers from the Museum, is inspired by a poignant quote from the poet and art critic Dario Bellezza, a friend of Luisa Elia. The event will feature an intimate and engaging conversation, an open dialogue with the audience during which some of Luisa Elia's most significant poems from the Eighties and Nineties will be read. It is a journey through symbolic and playful imagery that has always characterized her artistic and poetic production.
