The solo exhibition "Metamorphosis" by artist and teacher Sara Pappadà will be inaugurated on Thursday, July 31, in the picturesque cloister of the Convent of the Reformed Fathers of Pulsano (TA). The exhibition is organized by the cultural association La 'Ngegna with the support of the Municipality of Pulsano and Movidabilia.

The exhibition is divided into three thematic sections:

Profiles,

Metamorphosis. Houses,

Icons, the latter dedicated to a visual tribute to Apulia and Piedmont.

Drawings and paintings depict a world suspended between reality and transformation, where human figures blend with natural shapes. Profiles become vases filled with prickly pears, female portraits evoke ancient symbols, and images transform into contemporary icons.

Sara Pappadà, born in Taranto in 1982, is an art historian and teaches Drawing and Art History in secondary school. Her works reflect a deep connection to her homeland – Marina di Pulsano – and, at the same time, with her adopted region, Piedmont. In this exhibition, these two souls dialogue with each other, as seen in the painting "Incontro," where Apulia and Piedmont merge in a symbolic embrace.

Some works have already been exhibited at the Ethnographic Museum "Once Upon a Time" in Alessandria; alongside these, the exhibition features new works created exclusively for the occasion.
