OPERA AND CINEMA: The Santa Cecilia Wind Quintet and Zurich Tonhalle in Molfetta

On October 12 at 7:30 PM, the Madonna della Rosa Auditorium in Molfetta will host a high-level event: OPERA AND CINEMA, organized by Note di Puglia under the artistic direction of international violinist Anna Tifu, who has passionately chosen and supported this prestigious ensemble.

The evening will feature the Wind Quintet of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Zurich Tonhalle, consisting of five world-renowned musicians: Andrea Oliva (flute), Francesco Di Rosa (oboe), Calogero Palermo (clarinet), Guglielmo Pellarin (horn), and Andrea Zucco (bassoon). Their artistic synergy and experience on the most important international stages make them one of the most authoritative chamber music ensembles in the musical scene.

The program will offer a sonic journey that alternates famous operatic pieces with unforgettable soundtracks: from the Fantasy on The Barber of Seville by Briccialdi to Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, from Emanuele Bosso's suite taken from Quo Vadis Baby to the music of Ennio Morricone (The Mission, Once Upon a Time in America) and Nino Rota (Amarcord, The Godfather, The Leopard).
