“EMOTIONS OF THE SOUL 1995-2025” Thirty Years of Art, Katya Abbrescia Celebrates Her Career with a Solo Exhibition in Bari.

The Art and MORE gallery, located at Via Cardassi 24 in Bari, is pleased to inaugurate the autumn season with a special event celebrating a significant artistic milestone: 30 years of painting by the artist Katya Abbrescia. The artist, who has dedicated three decades to her love and passion for painting, will present a solo exhibition titled “EMOTIONS OF THE SOUL 1995-2025," which traces her rich career through exhibitions and awards, always driven by a single, inexhaustible passion.

The exhibition will open to the public with an inauguration and celebration evening to be held on Sunday, October 12th at 7:00 PM at the Art and MORE gallery. The event will not only be an opportunity to admire Katya Abbrescia's works but also to celebrate together her first artistic milestone, which began 30 years ago with the victory of her first painting award. The artist invites friends, art enthusiasts, and the public to share this significant moment with her.

Katya Abbrescia is a self-taught artist with a long-standing career and a wide presence in national and international art exhibitions and contests.

Her works are part of public and private collections. She has received numerous awards and acknowledgments from specialized critics, including the 1st Prize for Graphics at the "Studio 5" Extempore (1998) and the First Prize for Painting at the International Pitagora Competition (2022). She was also awarded the Stupor Mundi Prize (2023).

In addition to painting, she is active as a curator of exhibitions and events. She is the founder and President (since 2015) of the Cultural Association Artistika - Signs of Puglia.

Her work is documented in publications such as the annual l’Elité and has captured the attention of figures like art collector Antonio Lari and journalist Gustavo Delgado.
