Concerto d'organo Slawomir Kaminski(Polonia)
SLAWOMIR KAMINSKI, winner of numerous competitions, won the J.S. Bach competition in Gdańsk in 1985. He has performed concerts all over Europe and worked as a solo organist with the Poznań choir. He has recorded numerous CDs both as a soloist and with chamber music. He is an organ professor at the Paderewski Academy in Poznań and participates in Erasmus projects in Lübeck and Vilnius. He is also a member of the jury for various international competitions in Rumia, Poznań, Opava, and Vilnius.

The program in question embraces numerous aspects of the organ repertoire: the German repertoire (Muffat and Bach), the romantic repertoire with Franck, and an interesting transcription from the piano of a Prelude by Chopin. Among the modern authors, we find a Polonaise Fantasy by F. Nowowiejski and an Alleluia by G. Rovetta (1901/85), an Italian composer and student of Ottorino Respighi, whose unknown elegant, melancholic, and introspective personality is expressed in this festive piece whose style recalls early 20th-century French music.
