**Sunday, November 2nd** we will travel along a picturesque itinerary that unfolds within the **National Park of the Lucanian Apennines**, characterized by a **great wooded richness**: white fir, maple, hop hornbeam, chestnut, turkey oak, downy oak, thyme, rockrose, hawthorn, wild pear, sloe, dog rose, cornelian cherry, but above all, an impressive beech forest, dominated by the ancient beech tree of San Michele, whose estimated age is no less than 400 years. All of this is intertwined with **ancient historical and religious vestiges and captivating panoramic views** over the Agri Valley, Melandro Valley, Maddalena Mountains, which separate Basilicata from Campania, Cilento Mountains, the spires of the Lucanian Dolomites, and the unmistakable outline of the Croccia and Airone Mountains.
