Udienza del Papa, Messa in San Pietro, Porta Santa

The choir Polifonica "J. S. Bach" from Conversano (BA) will be animating the solemn Mass at 12:00 PM, which will be celebrated next Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Altar of the Chair of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

The choir has organized a trip to Rome open to all who wish to participate on the occasion of the Jubilee of Hope 2025. Departure is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 10:00 PM from Piazza della Resistenza in Conversano (BA) and at 10:30 PM from Via San Sabino in Mola di Bari (BA).

We will arrive in Rome at 7:00 AM and will immediately get settled in Paul VI Hall where at 9:30 AM the Holy Father Leo XIV will hold his weekly audience.

After the audience, we will head to St. Peter's Basilica where at 12:00 PM you can attend the Mass at the Altar of the Chair, which will be animated by the "J. S. Bach" Polyphonic Choir, accompanied on the organ by Maestro Angela Muscatelli and conducted by Maestro Francesco Dello Spirito Santo.

At the end of the celebration, we will pass through the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica and then have ample free time for lunch (which can be packed or at one of the local restaurants) and for a pleasant stroll among the shop windows of Roman stores, which will be particularly beautiful as they are already decorated for the Christmas holidays.

At 4:00 PM we will gather to start the return journey, which will end at around 12:00 AM in the cities of Mola di Bari (BA) and Conversano (BA).

The cost of the trip is 70 euros per person, which includes the round-trip journey by Gran Turismo coach, the access fee to the Limited Traffic Zone of downtown Rome, and participation in the papal audience.
