UNA VOCE DA PUB - Seconda serata di selezioni Live

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 8:45 PM, at the Joy’s Pub in Bari (Corso Sonnino 118/D), the second evening of live selections for the music contest “A VOICE FROM THE PUB” VII ed will take place.

The first evening on January 15 was well-received, with the first contestants performing in front of a large audience, who also acted as the public jury for the evening.

There are 16 singers who will perform until May, creating a true musical frenzy on the natural stage of Joy’s Pub, with events every Thursday evening. Each evening will feature a different technical jury composed of journalists, musicians, authors, and producers, who will evaluate the artistic abilities and musical proposals of the performers, determining their path in the contest. Alongside the technical jury, there will also be a public jury made up of the audience present in the room, who will vote to allow each artist to continue in the contest.

The second evening of selections will feature live performances by:
Grazia Frappampina, Fabio Napoleone, Giorgio Ribezzo, and Valentina Roncone.

Leading and accompanying the musical journey of the participants will be Maestro Fabio Prota, a professional musician who will personally follow all the singers for the entire duration of the contest. The hosting and entertainment of the evenings will be entrusted to the Bari actor William Volpicella.

The contest will conclude in May 2026 with an All Stars evening, dedicated to all participating artists, followed by the final, which will determine the winners of the two prizes at stake:
• 1st Prize: recording of a single at a recognized production house in Puglia
• 2nd Prize: concert for the Live Music 2026 Opening Night, with a dedicated fee.

This initiative is also made possible thanks to the support of Sponsor Guinness IPA, which will accompany the contest by promoting the audience with prize vouchers drawn at each evening.

Joy’s Pub, the first Irish Pub in Bari, has always been a place of artistic and cultural experimentation. Fully embodying the concept of a Public House, the venue serves as a space for meeting and sharing, where music and art become tools for gathering and creative promotion. Fabio Prota is a musician with classical training from the “N. Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari and jazz training at “Pentagramma” under the guidance of Maestro Davide Santorsola. In over twenty years of activity, he has navigated diverse genres, from reggae to metal, participating as an author in the Sanremo Academy and receiving recognition that has placed some of his works in compilations distributed by labels such as Sony and Universal Music. He has worked as an arranger and jingle composer for recording studios and local television broadcasters, including Telenorba, collaborating with national artists and opening concerts for international artists such as Tuck & Patti. In recent years, he has released three solo piano albums; the project My Heart Leaps Up was presented at International Jazz Day and broadcast on RAI Radio 3. In August 2023, he was selected with the project The Wonders to represent Italy at the International Beatle Week, performing also at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.
