There are places that seem to have been created to preserve stories.
Masseria Mangiato is one of them.
A stone courtyard illuminated by the light of sunset, ancient trulli that tell the story of the Itria Valley, the scent of the countryside, and the silence of the woods awaiting the arrival of night.
Here, time slows down.
And theater becomes an experience.
The evening will begin in the enchanting courtyard of the masseria, where you will be welcomed for a convivial gathering featuring authentic flavors and a rural atmosphere.
🥂 An aperitivo dinner with a dinner box prepared by the historic Caseificio Crovace will be waiting for you, featuring local specialties to enjoy in the shade of the trulli, accompanied by a glass of wine or a refreshing drink.
When the sun gives way to twilight, the story of the surroundings will begin—an invitation to listen to the history of the masseria and the landscape around it.
Then…
the forest trail will open.
We will leave the courtyard and venture among trees, rocks, and the scents of the Mediterranean scrubland.
No artificial lighting.
Only the light of the moon and stars.
Only the sound of footsteps.
Only the forest.
And it is precisely there that the magic will come to life.
Among the branches will appear Oberon, Titania, the mischievous Puck, fairies, elves, and the eccentric craftsmen from William Shakespeare’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*.
The forest will become an immense natural stage.
Spectators will walk alongside the actors, moving through scenes that unfold among the trees, dry-stone walls, and clearings, experiencing theater with all their senses.
✨ An evening combining the flavors of local products, the beauty of a historic masseria, and the magic of theater in nature.
An experience to be savored slowly, from the last ray of sunlight to the stars.
✨ First, the pleasure of the table; then, the charm of the masseria; finally, the forest. When night envelops Masseria Mangiato, the boundary between reality and fantasy disappears, and Shakespeare comes to life beneath the stars. One evening, a thousand emotions to take home.
