4° FESTIVAL PIANISTICO INTERNAZIONALE DEL MEDITERRANEO

**Mediterranean International Piano Festival 2026**
**Trani – S. Luigi Auditorium | November 2026**

Great piano music returns to Trani.

In November 2026, the Mediterranean International Piano Festival will launch its new edition with a first part held entirely at the S. Luigi Auditorium in Trani—a welcoming and atmospheric venue that will host a rich programme featuring distinguished performers, young talents, and extraordinary figures from the international music scene.

There will be many remarkable concerts dedicated to the piano, offering a musical journey through different eras, styles, and sensibilities: from the great solo repertoire to chamber music, from the most beloved works of the piano tradition to programmes capable of surprising and engaging the audience.

A particularly significant feature will be the meeting between the piano and the Mediterranean Philharmonic Orchestra, which will take part in several events in the series. This dialogue between soloists and orchestra will bring some of the most fascinating works from the concerto repertoire to Trani.

The Festival, however, will be more than simply a succession of concerts. Great emphasis will be placed on education and on bringing musicians together, with masterclasses led by internationally renowned teachers and performers. Some of the educational activities will also be open to the public, by reservation and invitation, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to observe lessons up close, witness the work being done with young musicians, and follow the journey from preparation to stage performance.

This first part of the Festival in Trani marks the beginning of a musical journey that will subsequently continue in Bari, at the Kursaal Santalucia Theatre, expanding the Festival’s programme and leading audiences toward new encounters with some of the most important figures in international music.

**Two cities, one great Festival.**

From Trani to Bari, through the piano and great music, the 2026 Mediterranean International Piano Festival will build a bridge between established artists, young talents, and audiences, offering a musical experience that brings together artistic excellence, education, and discovery.
