MEDITERRANEA | Madre Natura, paesaggi e identita

MEDITERRANEA | Mother Nature, Landscapes and Identities
Group Exhibition of Contemporary Art
from October 10 to November 7, 2026
vernissage -> Saturday, October 10, 2026 – 6:00 p.m.

On the occasion of the 22nd AMACI Contemporary Art Day, the major annual event promoted by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, Linea d❜Arte A.P.S. is pleased to present this exhibition project, hosted at the exhibition space of the Monbook–Mondadori Point Bookshop.

The project aims to offer an artistic exploration of the Mediterranean, understood not merely as a geographical region, but as a landscape of the soul, a cultural matrix, and a place of memory and collective identity.
The land, the sea, the light, the layers of history, and the architecture represent a symbolic and material heritage in constant evolution, capable of stimulating the sensitivity and poetic research of contemporary artists.
Historically regarded as a privileged space for movement, cultural exchange, and dialogue among diverse cultures, the Mediterranean basin preserves, in its territories and in the identity of its peoples, the traces of an ongoing plural encounter.

On the occasion of the vernissage, the opening will be enhanced by a group performance rooted in the primordial nature and profound connection with the earth characteristic of traditional folk dance.
❞YOU ARE A FIERCE ROOT. YOU ARE THE EARTH THAT WAITS❞
A dance performance by the folk-dance students of L’Arte di Tersicore ASD.
The performance draws on the legend of the *masciare*, magical figures from the folk culture of southern Italy, and on the myth of the Taranta—the spider whose symbolic bite gives rise to psychic delirium, an expression of inner chaos that translates into a visceral desire for freedom and self-expression.
