International Music Film&Video Festival URTIcanti

**The INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FILM & VIDEO FESTIVAL URTIcanti** is a festival and competition dedicated to short films, short documentaries, and video art works. It was created to promote contemporary art music, both in written and electroacoustic form.

The project’s mission is to disseminate contemporary art music through images. It often happens that inexperienced listeners perceive contemporary art music as an abstract, even overly intellectual form of expression, and consequently distance themselves from it. In today’s landscape, where images are an almost indispensable element of every communication process, the use of visual media—short films, short documentaries, and video art works—can help overcome and dispel certain prejudices.

The evening will feature the participation of **EDOARDO SABATO**, winner of the **2026 Hystrio Award** in the *Vocazione* category (acting godmother/godfather or promising young actor).

Live musical performances are also scheduled during the evening.
