Amandona in concerto

**Hauskonzerte is reopening!**

On Sunday, October 18, **AMANDONA!**, a Brazilian singer touring Europe, will be performing.

Amandona (the stage name of Amanda Diniz) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, performer, and activist from Belo Horizonte. She is now considered one of the most interesting and prominent voices on the independent pop and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) scene, particularly within the sapphic and LGBTQ+ community. Before devoting herself entirely to art, Amanda worked as a lawyer. Her professional turning point came during the pandemic, when she decided to leave the courtroom behind and invest fully in her passion for music.

In Belo Horizonte, she quickly established herself as one of the most beloved figures in the street Carnival scene.

She became the lead singer of the renowned **Abalô-Caxi** bloc—capable of attracting more than 100,000 people—and successfully launched her own independent project, **Bloco da AMANDONA!**
