#LA LOCANDIERA 2.0: Goldoni Meets the Contemporary World in a Brilliant and Surprising Comedy

As part of the winter events organized by the TeatroForma association at the Van Westerhout Theatre in Mola di Bari, the performance entitled **#LA LOCANDIERA 2.0**, directed by Daniele Sirotti, will take place on **Friday, October 30, with doors opening at 8:45 p.m., and Sunday, November 1, with doors opening at 8:00 p.m.**

Carlo Goldoni’s celebrated *The Mistress of the Inn* comes to life in an original, contemporary version with **“LA LOCANDIERA 2.0,”** a lively comedy full of irony.

At the center of the story is a modern-day Mirandolina: enterprising and seductive, she runs a B&B, skillfully exploiting the power of social media to attract new guests. Faithful to the spirit of Goldoni’s heroine, the protagonist engages in a subtle game of seduction with a Knight who holds rather unflattering views of women, determined to make him recognize women’s sensitivity, intelligence, and abilities.

Through misunderstandings, provocations, and hilarious situations, **“LA LOCANDIERA 2.0”** combines the charm of great classical theatre with the language and dynamics of contemporary society, inviting audiences to smile while also encouraging them to reflect.
