MYTHOS ALLA RICERCA DELL’ESSENZA DEL MITO

Title: "MYTHOS: In Search of the Essence of Myth" to be held at the Museo di Palazzo Bellini in Florence from September 24 to 30.

MYTHOS is the first exhibition organized at the Bellini Foundation and proposed by ELITE MUNDILIVE, celebrating the essence of the Myth itself in a contemporary perspective.

Located inside the prestigious Florentine residence that hosts the historical museum, the exhibition path stands out for its high artistic quality. It transitions from archaic myths based on symbolism and numerology, with works tied to the modern reenactment of ancestral cults, to artists who, reclaiming the archetypes of Myth, evoke classical mythology with the aim of conveying social messages and inner journeys through the depths of the subconscious. It continues with the vision of contemporary myths that iconize popular figures (such as Neapolitan or theatrical myths) through modern and popular languages drawn from pop surrealism and urban art. Finally, there are works inspired by metaphysics and surrealism, exploring the dreamlike and spiritual aspects of the essence of this theme.
